A dodgeball game inspired by Mad Balls Arena.

But hopefully not. I actually liked Mad Balls back in the day. So I'd be making it to please myself rather than trying to please a community.
Glaive ball should be coming very soon.
Next I'll be working on a meteor ball, and making heavy changes to the map.

Also, will it be hard to code Gravity Ball? How will you make the bouncy jump item?
nope, it won't be hard to code gravity ball.
currently i have couriers which fly into the field to drop the balls. when a ball stops bouncing an invisible item spawns on top of it, allowing you to 'pick up' the ball.

You need to make the basic balls slightly less faster, just slightly.
Also, you should copy the first basic map from mad balls it had great design and was sucessful
Are you going to introduce the items like the jump jetpack which were a lot of fun?
I plan to make the current map more interesting by adding high-ground areas, shops, runes, maybe the ball-tank thing, etc. But, from my judgement, 1:1 ports of maps really don't turn out how you expect them to be. Dota2 is a completely different beast than WC3. For example, the models and terrain look enormous in Dota2 compared to WC3. It's in my best interest to develop something that's highly compatible with the game engine.
Yes, I will add fun items like that. Another item I'm planning is a baseball bat that you can swing and it will knock back incoming balls. I'm not sure how I will accomplish this using the dire creep model, but with Tiny I can easily make him use the tree trunk to represent the baseball bat. So, if I make Tiny the primary model, I might change the game name to be "Tiny's Balls Arena" or "Tiny's Dodgeball". Tiny balls kek.
